      Production Supervisor – Owasso, OK Owasso, OK

      We are searching for a Production Supervisor to join our team in the Da/Pro facility located at 6712 N. Canton Ave., just east of Hwy 75 and 66th St North.

      The Production Supervisor coordinates the activities of the Compression Department.  This individual is a subject matter expert regarding mold changes, mold and press machine condition, and troubleshooting.  In the role of department supervisor, he or she provides guidance and training to staff and coordinates with Human Resources in hiring and onboarding activities.  This position is expected to actively develop employees for additional skills and responsibilities.

      PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

      1. Train, monitor and appraise the activities of employees in the production/press line department. As well as maintaining attendance records, efficiency and reject rate percentages by employee.
      2. Communicate with department leads to ensure smooth operation of all shifts;
      3. Coordinate with the CSR, material and inspection departments regarding schedules to meet customer demands.
      4. Plan, coordinate materials and press assignments, as necessary, to meet production schedules and company goals.
      5. Ensure that quality goals and process roles are met.
      6. Coordinate with Tool Room Supervisor to schedule mold repairs and/or manufacture of replacement molds.
      7. Create and follow processes and procedures.
      8. Enforce company policies and safety practices as outlined in employee handbook and safety documents.
      9. Provide training to all levels of operators, mold cleaners, set-up technicians, and leads. This may involve performing basic press duties as part of the coaching process.
      10. Actively pursue LEAN manufacturing initiatives.
      11. Drive consistent use of problem solving and root cause analysis tools including corrective actions and effectiveness reviews.
      12. Monitor efficiency, reject rate percentage, and drive improvements accordingly.
      13. Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      • At least 5 years of applicable experience with progressive responsibility in a manufacturing production environment.
      • Demonstrated experience w/employee training & development, press operations, mold care (or equivalent transferable manufacturing skills) including scheduling and prioritizing, quality standards, and troubleshooting of quality issues.
      • Ability to navigate an MRP system at an expert level.
      • Basic understanding of LEAN methodologies as demonstrated by the implementation of quality initiatives.
      • Proven experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT and Outlook)
      • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast paced cross-functional environment. (via; verbal and/or written)

      Network Administrator – Broken Arrow, OK Broken Arrow, OK

      Da/Pro Rubber, Inc. is looking to hire a Network Administrator who will be responsible for managing

      the daily operations of our computer networks. You will be in charge of overseeing digital security

      and performing maintenance to ensure that the system is operating at full capacity. You will also

      be tasked with installing hardware and software when necessary.

       

      A bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or five years practical experience is needed for you to

      be considered as a candidate. To be successful in this role, a strong understanding of network

      infrastructure and the ability to administer and troubleshoot network devices are needed.

       

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      1. Assess the company’s network and computer system needs.
      2. Install hardware and software.
      3. Make upgrades and repairs as needed.

      The Manufacturing Manager coordinates the activities of multiple production processes with the objective of operating at the highest levels of quality and efficiency.  This individual is a subject matter expert regarding development and implementation of process controls.  In the role of manufacturing manager, he or she provides guidance, training, support and constructive feedback to staff and coordinates with Human Resources in hiring and onboarding activities.  This manager is expected to actively develop employees for additional skills and responsibilities and to assist the VP of Manufacturing in the efficient operation of the plant.

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      1. Train, monitor and evaluate the activities of department supervisors
      1. Communicate with department leads to ensure smooth operation of all shifts
      1. Ensure that quality metrics are being met consistently
      2. Monitor departments and ensure process standards are met
      3. Hold all department leads and supervisors accountable for meeting KPIs
      4. Adhere to existing processes and procedures as well as identifying opportunities for improvement
      5. Identify, create and develop metrics as needed
      6. Drive, monitor and evaluate health and safety policy
      7. Actively pursue LEAN manufacturing initiatives;
      8. Work directly with various key positions including Engineers, Chemists, Quality Managers, Production Supervisors as well as key Executive Positions
      9. Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Manufacturing.
      10. Review and understand the P&L and adjust operations accordingly

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Minimum 5 years of applicable experience with progressive responsibility in a manufacturing production environment. 1-3 years of supervisory experience
      • Expert level skills in the areas of employee evaluations, training & development.
      • Must have the ability to schedule and prioritize jobs, meet quality standards and troubleshooting of quality issues
      • Ability to navigate an ERP/MRP system at an expert level.

      Tool Engineer – Newburyport, MA Newburyport, MA

      Da/Pro Rubber, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of precision molded rubber and plastic components for various industries.  We are searching for a Tool Engineer to become part of our Plastic Injection Molding team. All product produced at Da/Pro is custom-ordered and designed.  Molds are designed in-house to be used as a part of our proprietary manufacturing process.  The Tool Designer is the primary project coordinator for new parts, from design through implementation.

      This position is located at our Newburyport, MA plant – 15 Malcolm Hoyt Drive.

      Job Duties

      • Create designs of plastic and TPE molds
      • Create bill of materials for mold designs and purchase necessary items to complete job
      • Interface with Machine Shop personnel and vendors to produce molds to specification
      • Control cost of new mold builds
      • Maintain timeline of project and report to Sales on progress
      • Support Production Departments in the troubleshooting of molds and document mold design changes based on the troubleshooting.

      Minimum Requirements

      • Solidworks experience, capable of designing a mold in Solidworks such that the resulting file is capable of being used to create machine paths.  Prefer the capability to also design cutting tools
      • Experience with designing plastic injection molds
      • Experience with progressive components products for mold making
      • Ability to properly document designs
      • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, including the ability to self-motivate
      • Leadership capabilities and aptitude
      • Must live within commuting distance from plant

      Preferred Requirements

      • Experience in a mold making shop with EDM, CNC mill programming, CNC lathe programming, Bridgeport mills, lathe work, and fixturing
      • Moderate to Expert level experience with MS Office Suite products, especially Excel, Word and Project

      The pay range for this position is SGD $2,500 – $2,600 per month, negotiable with experience.

      JOB SUMMARY

      The position’s responsibilities include coordinating and supporting production department and ensure smooth operation.  The candidate will work closely with our operator, supervisor, and business partner to develop new product.

      PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Maintenance of all machines and proper documentation of training records.
      • Familiarize with the operating procedure for all machines.
      • Repair of machines in the event of breakdown.
      • To maintain proper spare part list.
      • To maintain proper material inventory / stock taking.
      • Production planning of rubber and molding
