    Job Summary

    The Production Planner coordinates the flow of work among departments through expert use of the organization’s MRP system. Duties include preparation, review and distribution of production and shipment schedules. The Production Planner communicates with various departments to determine and track the progress of work, completion dates and inventory levels.

    Essential Duties

    • Utilize MRP software to review production planning and job travelers to determine quantities of finished product required to complete orders;
    • Examine documents, materials and/or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications;
    • Respond to Production Delivery Requests issued by Customer Service;

    Tool Designer Newburyport, MA

    Job Summary

    All product produced at Da/Pro is custom-ordered and designed.  Molds are designed in-house to be used as a part of our proprietary manufacturing process.  The Tool Designer is the primary project coordinator for new parts, from design through implementation.  This position is located in our Newburyport, MA facility.

    Job Duties

    • Create designs of plastic and TPE molds
    • Create bill of materials for mold designs and purchase necessary items to complete job
    • Interface with Machine Shop personnel and vendors to produce molds to specification
    • Control cost of new mold builds
    • Maintain timeline of project and report to Sales on progress
    • Support Production Departments in the troubleshooting of molds and document mold design changes based on the troubleshooting.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Solidworks experience, capable of designing a mold in Solidworks such that the resulting file is capable of being used to create machine paths. Prefer the capability to also design cutting tools
    • Experience with designing plastic injection molds
    • Experience with progressive components products for mold making
    • Ability to properly document designs
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, including the ability to self-motivate
    • Leadership capabilities and aptitude

    Preferred Requirements

    • Experience in a mold making shop with EDM, CNC mill programming, CNC lathe programming, Bridgeport mills, lathe work, and fixturing

    Manufacturing Engineer Broken Arrow, OK

    Da/Pro Rubber is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for our Broken Arrow, OK facility.  As part of the engineering team, the Manufacturing Engineer assists in the design, continuous improvement, and support of the molding process.  The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver capable of communicating to all areas of the company to gather relevant information and utilize that information to effectively and efficiently formulate conclusions.

    Job Duties

    • Verify the mold process for multiple thermoset rubber processes;
    • Support Continuous Quality Improvement including mold process improvement, and Lean implementation and planning;
    • Approve process changes and customer drawing changes;
    • Document processes as required for ISO 9000/13485, operator training, and company standards;
    • Design experiments to determine the root cause of issues and potential solutions
    • Create FMEA’s;
    • Approve mold designs, as appropriate;
    • Support Corrective Action/Preventive Action processes;

    Da/Pro Rubber is hiring Assembly Line Auditors (also known as Line Checkers) for our 1st shift (7:00am – 3:00pm) and 2nd shift (3:00pm – 11:00pm) Monday through Friday.

    • Pulls samples from each press during production and evaluates for quality defects.

    Rubber Mill Operator Broken Arrow, OK

    Job Summary

    The Mill Operator sets up, operates and tends milling machines to mix, mill and shape rubber material for molding. The mill operator uses job travelers and other documentation for specifications and conformance. This position works closely with plant chemists to ensure proper chemicals, dyes, creams, oils and other components are properly used when preparing to mill rubber material. The shift hours for this position are 5:00 am – 1:00 pm.

    Experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful but if you are a good worker willing to help out the team, we will train you.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Reads and interprets job travelers to assess specifications and to determine mixing and material instructions needed to mill rubber components
    • Observes the milling machine operation and adjusts controls to ensure conformance with specified tolerances such as mill speed, lubrication and density
    • Continuously tends the machine and the material, often feeding material back into the rollers and sometimes adding components until the material reaches proper consistency
    • Verifies dimensions of rubber material using various instruments such as rulers, gauges and calipers
    • Delivers samples to the on-site lab for testing, as necessary
    • Removes rubber material and places it according to instructions on racks in the mill room or cold storage

    Job Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • 2 years of experience working with heavy machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred
