    Director of Quality Assurance – Broken Arrow, OK Broken Arrow, OK

    Job Summary

    The Director of Quality Assurance (QA Director) oversees the quality control operations of the plant in conformance with Da/Pro standards, policies and procedures. This position supervises quality personnel including QA technicians and line check personnel and is the QA management representative for the facility. This individual works closely with other plant and company functions in the support and promotion of the company’s culture and core values.

    The ideal candidate will have significant experience overseeing and directing quality in an ISO 13485 environment.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Plans, coordinates, and directs quality control program across multiple locations designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards;
    • Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product;
    • Maintains quality control objectives and in cooperation with the plant managers, coordinates objectives with production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs;
    • Directs, through intermediate personnel, workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products;
    • Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability;
    • Investigates and addresses customer complaints regarding quality;
    • Plans and executes internal audits and acts as liaison with external auditors.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Five to Eight years of experience as a Quality Manager in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality standards
    • At least 4 years of supervisory/management experience.

    Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

    Press Machine Operator – Owasso, OK Owasso, OK

    Job Summary

    The Press Machine Operator is responsible for operating and tending to the press machines to mold, shape and form rubber components. The ideal candidate is responsible, dedicated and hard-working. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

    Wage increases available after 30 days and 6 months for strong work performance. $250 Retention Bonus available for 2nd & 3rd shifts.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Review job documents for details and instructions to determine procedures and settings for pressing rubber components
    • Load rubber components on to molds
    • Monitor press machine operation and observe lights and gauges in order to detect press machine malfunctions
    • Notify supervisors when rubber component and or molds don’t meet standards
    • Provide the quality inspector with sample of finished product and make adjustments to mold as recommended by the production supervisor
    • Clean excess product from press machine molds as needed, using various tools such air hoses and solutions such as soap with water

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Ability to understand instructions and to convey information to others effectively
    • Basic reading, writing and math skills
    • Basic computer skills to enter data from processed orders
    • Must be able to use basic hand tools
    • Individuals in this machine operator position stand for long periods of time, perform some moderate lifting and must be able to push/pull.

    The Product Inspector is responsible for inspecting, sorting and weighing manufactured rubber components in various shapes and sizes. Uses microscope, magnifying glass and various other hand tools such as tweezers, scissors and q-tips. Wage increases available after 30 days and 6 months for strong work performance.

    We are hiring Product Inspectors for the following shifts in our Broken Arrow, OK facility:

    3rd shift (11:00pm – 7:00am) Sunday – Thursday

    Duties & Essential Job Functions

    • Inspect manufactured products for conformance to specifications
    • Separate components with defects including but not limited to cracks, marks, holes, tears and contamination
    • Notify supervisor of excessive defects on any particular component
    • Document accepted/rejected counts on product paperwork

    Other Needs & Requirements

    • Speak to others to convey information effectively
    • Use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Must be able to accurately weigh, count and document inspection results
    • Some experience entering data into a computer required
    • Strong attention to detail

    Machine Operator/Inspector – Newburyport, MA Newburyport, MA

    Responsibilities and Duties

    The essential job duties of the Machine Operator/Inspector include:

    • Manual operation of injection molding machines according to specific manufacturing document instructions;
    • Recording molded part quantities on the job traveler and into the job tracking system;
    • Reporting of any quality or mechanical issues;
    • Inspection of parts for defects or non-conformance and any associated documentation;
    • Weighing production batches to obtain quantities;
    • Documentation as part of our quality assurance best practices.

    Qualifications and Skills

    The individual in the Machine Operator/Inspector position:

    • Has the ability to read and understand manufacturing documents;
    • Has good basic math and calculation understanding;
    • Can use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems;
    • Is a hard-working, reliable person with a solid work history; and
    • Can work overtime, as needed.

    Ideally, this individual can work 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
