Da/Pro Rubber History

Charles Daubenberger Sr. founded Da/Pro Rubber, Inc. in 1960. Mr. Daubenberger developed a unique low-pressure press for compression molding rubber allowing Da/Pro Rubber to offer precision, virtually flash free molding of elastomers to its customers. Starting from a site in Santa Monica, CA, the company moved to Van Nuys in 1966. As sales grew, the company opened a manufacturing facility in Tulsa, OK in 1976. In 1991 the company expanded its manufacturing capabilities to Asia with a manufacturing facility in Singapore.

To accommodate requests from customers, Da/Pro Rubber, Inc. added a Class 10,000 clean room molding facility at their Tulsa site in 1995. Liquid silicone rubber (LSR) injection molding capabilities were added to the Tulsa facility in 1997 and to our Singapore and Valencia facilities in 2001. The California molding operations moved into a world class 30,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Valencia, CA in 2000. ISO-9001 certification has been obtained by our Tulsa, Singapore, and California Manufacturing facilities. Please see our Quality section for copies of the certifications.

In 2008, Da/Pro opened a 40,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility, which will expand LIM services in the United States. The new facility will house the liquid injection molding services ( LIM ) as well as additional compression molding activities. This facility provides full service quality control, inspection, on-site LIM engineers, and full shipping capabilities.

Da/Pro Rubber has been providing rubber molded parts to international markets for over 40 years with a regional sales force in the US and sales representatives located in Scotland, Germany, and Singapore.
